Anyone in Alberta canada with a ridgerunner or blackbird?

I'm struggling to decide which hammock to buy. So I was wondering if anyone local had either of these so I could at least take a look at them and get somewhat more informed as to which one will suit me best.
    Thank you.

I'm in Saskatoon and went with a self made double layer 11 ft. Separate DIY bugnet. My friend has the same/clone and we love them for camping sleeping in. A single layer is comfy to.

Your dilemma is between a bridge and non. Hard one.

If you can't find them buy both and sell the other one here. You'll only lose a small bit of money and then you'll have answered your question!

Shipping from Canada back and forth over the border gets a bit pricy. Most sales on the forum state USA only - I'm guessing for that reason.

But depending on which hammock I buy will dictate which underquilt and tarp I get.

So it's kind of an all or nothing deal.

And I suppose there's always the bb xlc to consider too.
    Lol.

I'd like the blackbird to work so I don't need poles. But it will suck if I get that full set up and don't like it.

What have you tried for hammocks? Experienced laying in a gathered end or a bridge?

I've got a cheap travel hammock. The single layer bunched end one. But only used for relaxing. Never slept in a hammock nor ever tried a good one.
    So basically zero experience.

fall asleep on side/stomach, same when camping (i use a barrel style sleeping bag) but i often roll onto my back and then spend all night on my back. in my basic hammock i have now i think id get to sleep well kind of half on my side and back leaning to the right.

i emailed brandon at WB and he thinks the ridge runner will be too tight across my shoulders.

so probably leaning toward the blackbird, now the question is 1.1 DL or 1.7 DL and regular or XLC.... from playing around in my little hammock i definitely want the lefty version so i can lay more towards my right side.

I have broad shoulders and the RR gave me plenty of room. Here is my initial review of it.

That being said, I think the BB will give you more support if you tend to sleep half on your back and side.
