Hi guys. Bored at work today thinking about extreme weather mods for hammocks. I had an idea. What if you had a tarp that had grooves or slots near the top inside of the tarp that sticks/stakes could be slid into and secured then stuck in the ground. I Assume that in severe weather the tarp would be lower to the ground, allowing smaller lighter poles/limbs to be driven into the ground at an angle with the tarp. If it could work it would strengthen the hammock tarp shelter against wind significantly.
