Steal away. Its not like I invented something new---I just took the Bishop Bag to another place on the tarp. Make a couple slightly bigger for the tarp suspension, and a couple for your hammock suspension and you'll be tangle free everywhere.

Now, if there's anybody who'd like me to make some for them, they could always send me a PM-------

My stake bag is a re-purposed USPS Tyvek Priority Mail envelope cut and sewn into a bag. The bottom 1" of the bag below the orange thread line is a second sturdy fabric layer of ironing board fabric to prevent punctures. With drawstring and cord lock it weighs 5g. It could probably be a hair lighter with a different cord and fabric layer inside.

works really good! the idea was 100% stolen from Paul who owns under ground quilts

It's a good idea actually, especially if you wanted to use the wrap as an under hammock ground cloth for shoes or standing on, etc.
    good idea!

Another simple, but oh so practical, idea is to sew a small grosgrain loop to the top of the foot end of your top quilt. Then cut a 15" long piece of 1/16" or 3/32" shockcord and tie it to the loop and then to the ridgeline.

For those of you that don't use integrated nets, this will keep your top quilt inside the hammock. Even if you use an integrated net, it will keep quilt from bunching up in the middle of the hammock when you sit down.

What a great idea! Gumbo and I are getting UGQ top quilts. I'm going to ask Paul if they can sew this in during manufacturing. Thanks for the idea!

Priceless, both of you! Perhaps I should include a return address and some postage on the USPS stake bag just in case it gets lost and found.
