AHE UQ/TQ combo vs UGQ UQ/TQ Combo

It looks to me like there is only a couple of ounces of difference between the size I need/want for the APEX Arrowhead quilts and the 700 down UGQ 20 degree combination. For more than $200 difference, and only five degrees rating difference, I can live with a couple ounces and degrees difference.

My concern is the size to which these items can be packed, I haven't been able to see a representation of the packed size difference between the APEX Arrowhead quilts and the UGQ down quilts. I have an Eberlestock War Hammer with expansion kits so the size might not be a deal breaker.

Can anyone help?

Good luck I'm sure someone here can give you a packed size reference. Also might wanna email both vendors I'm sure they will have that info, after that it becomes a matter of preference of down vs synthetic...

Paul shows the packed size of the Jarbridge 3/4 vs. the New River full.

Down will pack smaller - think basketball vs. softball, but cost is quite a bit more. I have the AHE APEX underquilts.
