i can't wait for the reviews to pour in about eno's uq "the ember" i believe they are calling it, all of you gear junkies that got to have one i hope will give it a workout of a review. i have two doublenest now, like the room and the lounge factor, the kids have not destroyed one yet and they are ruff on my older one, i'm sure they have overloaded it and it still show no wear after 3 yrs
i do not remember the question, however i believe beer is the answer

yesterday we went into town and picked up a eno double for my niece. there's two outfitters that carry eno and neither had the guardian bug net, and both checked with the factory and they said they were out of stock. Really?! So it sounds like ENO is waiting just like the rest of us for their big shippment to come in!?

I set up my niece's new eno under the deck as soon as we got back and she spend quite awhile lounging in it. I set mine up next to her's and we both ended up snoozin' for about a hour! cool ...... I mentioned we can test them out that evening to see how the new eno would work out for her, and I set up my bug net for her but for myself I just hung a rectangular cot style net over me. I put up my speer swt over both hammocks to see just how that would work out, and I did, as it poured just around dawn. splashing off the deck got me a bit wet but it wasn't bad. my niece was high and dry though, she spent the night in the house instead, oh well.

I'll be checking back with the factory on and off to see when the big shippment will be in, and maybe I should just preorder my jungle hammock? anyone know what it costs?

If you don't want to wait, just order the Warbonnet Traveler Net - it will fit and work with the HAAB-style hammocks perfectly. It's lighter than the ENO also.

Am I the only one who thinks the new Eno Jungle Hammock looks a LOT like the Clark?
It's like all they did was put that pad sleeve on the bottom.

I contacted ENO and they said the Jungle Hammock would be available in August.

    I'm surprised. I smell a rip-off!

I wonder...Does Clark not have his design patented? That looks very similar in design! Even the "Weather Shield" stow-pocket that ENO has incorporated.

I do like the pad sleeve, though. I thought about sewing one on the inside of my Clark, since the pockets underneath wouldn't allow space for one on the bottom. I rarely use a pad anyway, but it would be a nice to have feature, just in case I had to pitch on the ground.

If they're not too pricey, I wouldn't mind picking one up to keep as a spare or for company to use.

Well, I couldn't wait ...... I needed a bug net, eno was out of stock so I ordered one thru brandon (wb), and I also ordered his bb and superfly. sure, I got to wait on this as well but I've been tossing this idea around in my head for awhile. dang, I should have ordered it months ago!

when that jungle hammock becomes available I want that as well. that pad pocket that with the opening at the front sure looks good.

oh well, I tried to resist, i already had a system that worked and was gonna get by using just that for this season. does this mean I'm now a gear junkie like so many others here on the hammock forums?
