Anyone near raccoon creek state park beaver county pa want to go camping?
I'm a girl so this would give a chance to other ladies who are interested in hammock camping

i live right by kennywood park so that is only about 45 min from me. i'm also a female so i'm glad to see other women here! when were you looking to head that way? i'm always down for getting out, however, i'm brand spanking new at this hammock camping.Originally Posted by juldga
I'm in McCandless, retired, with too many hammocks to my name. I occasionally get over that way to ride on the Montour Trail, so any excuse to hang as well as ride is good with me. I love sitting around a campfire with like-minded folks, and as I am retired I can get away darn near any time.

I just did the forest trail to pioneer campground on 7/6-7/7. Had a great time!
Did this ever go anywhere? I'm pretty close to Raccoon Creek SP.
i was checking out their prices for their campgrounds on tuesday... not so greatly priced. depends on how this went on whether or not i would attend
