ViDEO: Border Route Trail Ramble BWCA PART 1 and 2

Whooooooo Buddy)))))) Finally......got out for some hammock and trail time. My friend alex and I hit the Border Route Trail in Northern Minnesota.
The Border Route Trail is a 65 mile long trail at the top on Minnesota and runs along the border between Minnesota and Canada. http://borderroutetrail.org
It has been 15 years since I have been on this trail so needed to get up for a ramble. This trail is isolated. And the quiet is amazing. Nothing but the sound of the wind, loons and water lapping.
It was so nice to get out and we were blessed with cool weather. And some rain.
Thankee for watching and Whoooooo Buddy)))))

I look forward to your trip reports more than new releases of the hobbit. Thanks for another highly entertaining trip report. Glad you made it up there, one of the northland's best and remote trails.

Great to see you back in your element. Want to tell you that I appreciate that you keep your videos rated PG. Grabbed some coffee this morning and watched this with my 5 year old son on my lap. He really loves to camp and he's fired up!

    Thanks!

Looks like fun Shug, gonna be up there for a 5-6 day canoe trip the end of July. Looking forward to it. I will not carry a dutch oven. Going light because the canoe is enough to carry, let alone a DO. Hope to catch some fish. Great report.

Remote is right))))) So quiet up there and no man-made interruptions at all. We saw no bobby on the trail but spied on canoes from afar.

I like to keep it clean for just that reason. Thanks for that. I am a bit of spotty-mouth in real life though....

We were blessed with some great cool temps. Soooo nice. Hope you get that. We are now planing a hybrid trip with kayaks and some backpacking too. Paddle out two days...stash the kayaks....hit the trail and head inland then back to a paddle. That would be fun and I would cook pancakes but keep it light like a backpacking trip.
    Have a wonderful trip....

Hot and huuuuumid down here in Ga. Thanks for taking out on your stroll. It's always nice to get a peek at another part of the country.
