Sewn Through Karo Step Top Quilt V2.0

20.0 ounces for a long/wide top quilt. Shell weighs 8.0 ounces with 12 ounces of down fill. Sewn footbox saves weight and fiddliness. Very happy with the 1.1 ounce DWR fabric. I reconfigured the baffle locations so down does not collect in the perimeter where it is less useful. Baffles are 10/5 and that's the magic number to keep the down where you want it with this amount of fill. Should be perfect into the mid 40's as designed.

    Thanks for looking!

Obviously a fine quilt, but let me add, I love the color!

Excellent. Would you be willing to provide a picture/description of how you reinforced the area above the footbox? I'm not 100% satisfied with how I did mine. Love the two tone.

I used snaps on this one but on my sewn ones I put a piece of elastic about an inch above where the stitching together starts. My theory being that the elastic will dissipate the force somewhat. I imagine that just reinforcing the edge with grosgrain before sewing together may work better though, not tried it yet so ymmv
