    Video: Adjusting the Hang on My Kit Built Hammock Stand

    Once the proper sag is determined there will be no need for an adjustable suspension. Just use longer lengths of line from the end of the hammock tied to the stand's hooks.

    you are correct in theory. However I want to be able to play with these adjustments for a while. The system is not completely static as the posts will need to be tightened over time. The changes will be slight and could probably be ignored without a problem. But allowing for adjustment does not present a liability to the system.
