Dutch Clips - Good for Whoopies + Webbing?

    Hello Everybody!

I'm trying to figure out which piece of Dutchware is appropriate to connect the Whoopie sling to the 1" webbing for my new Blackbird XLC. I have a couple of light biners that are 23g each that I currently use, but will consider something else if it saves an ounce. Are the Dutch Clips right for this or should I be looking at something else? I see there is a Whoopie Hook suspension product, but I'd prefer something where I wouldn't have to re-tie or replace the Whoopies that I already have on.

    Thanks,
    Tim

Dutch Buckle would be my choice. It provides the attachment point for your whoopies and is adjustable as well.

I just fell in love with Dutch Clips again.

They are small enough to easily feed through the second loop on my tree huggers. Lighter than my lightweight climbing carabiners (20g v 25g for 10 grams weight savings) and lots smaller so less bulk. With Whoopies they are awesome. I even prefer 1" straps, Dutch Clips, and Whoopies to the Whoopie Hook set up. I leave my DCs attached to the Huggers. An alternate approach is to leave the Clips attached to the Whoopie (in place of the bead) but I find the gate for the DC a little small for quick attachment to the Hugger.

Try the new G Clips! Mailman was supposed to deliver mine tonight but failed to do so. Monday is my birthday so it is appropriate that I get my new Dutchware then I suppose.

Dutch buckles are what I use for this.

+1 on the Dutch Buckle. They live on my tree straps and I just move them to fit the tree size, then hang my UCR's off them. Although that new G Clip has got my attention.

Thank you all for your help. I hadn't realized I could use the Dutch Buckles for this purpose. They look really neat, although, I think if I went with that approach I might have to get new/longer webbing to replace the shorter doubled ended loop webbing that came with the XLC. It sounds like the Dutch Clips should work just great and I wouldn't have to replace or rework anything. It's really hard not to want to order one of everything though! I already have the Tarp Flyz which work great, so I'm sure I'll like the other Dutch products as well.

Oops. Yeah I mean the Dutch Biner. Clips, Hooks, Biners, Buckles, Clips, so many options also means hard to keep straight.
