Wow those are some beautiful views! Looks to be well worth the effort. Thanks for sharing.
Good to hear you enjoy the videos, SimonMc! A positive comment or two helps in the motivation to make more department. I'm a bit slow off the mark, so they do talk me a long time to edit together. Thanks for taking the time to watch the video and all the best, SimonMc!
Nothing like a good view to make a hill climb worth while. It was close enough to a 360 degree view, which gets a big tick from me. That kind of unblocked, all round view is a bit hard to find. Thanks for the watch and the type talk, Redoleary, that's good!
wow, good work, thanks for sharing!
Thanks, TZBrown! There's nothing quite like a good view to settle the nerves! You're are welcome for the take along!
hattywaiverwireguru... hattywaiverwireguru is an interesting trail name! Thanks for taking the time to watch the video, hattywaiverwireguru and for letting me know you liked it!
Hi there FireInMyBones,
I was a bit surprised to get a new comment on this video. The videos seem to have a lifespan. When my videos disappear off the first page of the trip reports in the forum, that's "usually" the end of them. Gone, never to be suffered through again.
Anyway...
You're very welcome for the share, FireInMyBones! The talking from the hammock was an idea I came up with to try to shorten the videos. Plus, any video with a hammock in it is a good video. It would of hurt a fair bit more, if I had fallen over and rolled down the hill. lol Probably would have taken the camera with me, which would have been a bit on the funny side. Thanks for watching the video! You've reminded me to have a look to see if there are any more videos of the 5th John Rock Hang.
Bye for now!
I'll have to say, that was pretty good there. Not some special sound file though. I'd recognize the sound of the California barking spider anywhere! Thanks for putting this on, and thanks for keeping a sense of humor about it all. Keep elevating until you're done depreciatin' brother.
There's no pulling the wool over your eyes, bringerofgame! lol Next time, I'll try to tell you I stepped on a duck. See if you believe that. lol Now, I like the sound of that CA barking spider. I bet it spends most of its time living in deep, dark, windy valley like cracks, and excretes poisonous gas, when it barks. You're welcome for the put on, bringerofgame! Thanks for the fun comments! At just after five in the morning here, it was a great way to start the day!
