CA, 4 Lakes Loop and Siligo Peak Trinity alps, August...

I'm looking to do this hike maybe in August or September, wondering if any one or there has done it and can tell me how it would be for that time of year.

    Thanks!

I have done it but in late June in a torrential down pour. By August/September it should be perfect conditions if memory serves me. How many days are you taking to complete it?

I was figuring on 2 days, staying at Diamond Lake for the night. I know the trees can get pretty sparse up there how is it for hanging?

When I was up there I remember plenty of good trees for hanging, this was in in my pre hammock days so I was not looking specifically though. I would give yourself three days or so, it gets pretty rugged.

Yea I might have to make it 3 days. I've heard it's one of the best hikes up there and I'd like to enjoy it

It really is. The trails are over grown so be prepared to bushwhack a bit.
