Hey Jonesy, we have nearly the same set up, I have a crows nest on the way too. I got the whoopie slings, they are very nice. I sent my tarp back to Brandon to get some pull outs added. Cant wait to get it back.

Double layer 1.1 and Big mamba tarp ordered yesterday. I can't wait either, trying to figure out how to set it up in my room so i can try it =)

right on! ive been thinking about whoopies for the hammock ,but i think ill wait it bit and use the webbing .id like to hear about those pull outs .the hammock and tarp wow im so pleased with the 1.1 dbl BB its really that good..and the tarp ummm yeah .. the first night got a real good weather test .in a nasty thunder storm. they both performed flawlessly.
im also really exited about that crowsnest.this will be my first uq .i really think this uq will push it over the top for me ..the down bag with pad = condinsation .im not likeing waking up with a wet down bag.but yeah show those pull outs off..

I have a confession. I've tried to be a better man. And not get all crazy and check my email multiple times a day. I'm sorry to say, I have. It saddens me that I don't have the patience to just wait.

But there is good news in all this time, I finally figure out that my profile picture isn't the same as my avatar and that is why I couldn't get my stupid picture to show up on the threads.

This is my second season with a hammock. The first season I had a cheap ENO that I bought at REI. After finding this forum and much research using the search button, I came to buy a Blackbird. Can't wait for it to show up! Now to find a tarp!
