What item are you excited for right now?

Just a thread for us to geek out of our shipments coming it.

I'm excited for TWO things!

1) A Titanium Jetboil. This something I have off and on turned my nose up until I got backpacking and end up with an aluminum kit that is very similar and learned about the whole aluminum/Alzheimer link and figured that is as good as any reason for upgrading to titanium and shaving a few ounces off my pack weight

2)An AHE Jarbridge. My first bought Underquilt, I made a PLUQ but it isn't warm outside of summer. Not only is in 2 inches wider and longer in each dimension than the PLUQ but it also shaves off just over 10 ounces from my pack weight compared to the PLUQ if the listed
weights are accurate!

Not only are they exciting by themselves but by pure coincidence they are both slated to arrive Friday! I can't wait!

Not quite so fancy, I think, but I'm awaiting my first few lengths of amsteel, to embark on my first DIY creating a set of whoopies. I did get an extra length for practice (play) purposes of course. Otherwise I just received that little $6 jewel of a backpack stove with ignition everyone was raving about in the HF Facebook group and my wife gave me an estwing camp axe for our anniversary to replace the one I lost a while back. So gear dreams do abound, if you seek them I reckon!

I'm preparing to switch from my bed to full-time hanging so I have a couple of items related to that coming.

1. Two 60" x 126" Crinkle Taffeta Tablecloths from tableclothsfactory.com (just ordered this morning).
2. 50' of Amsteel from Dutchwaregear.com for whoopee slings & continuous loops.

I'm also waiting on a new ThunderBird (order #1073) from Dream Hammock for my outdoor sleeping. And if I can ever make up my mind I'll be ordering an under quilt in the next few days.

I am stoked for my first under quilt, a Hammock Gear Incubator 20, which should arrive today! My next acquisition will be either a zero degree UQ or a top quilt.

UGQ flight jacket 30. It's in the mail and should be here by Friday. It will be my first piece of down equipment!

I haven't ordered it yet, but I am goo-goo over the Amok hammock. I am still on the fence about ordering it. It is on sale until 31 July, so now is the time to decide.

Looking forward to my first TQ. After many years of faithful use it's time to retire the old down sleeping bag and get a down TQ. Wilderness Logics XL should do the trick at keeping me toasty on those cold nights in the piney woods.
