Yea my Aarn pack is waterproof, but I've considered a dry bag to go outside if I ever needed a lil more storage space (I'm thinking winter)

I've got an Aarn that I just stuff my quilts straight into the bottom of the pack.
If I'm kayaking, then I use the very heavy thick plastic/rubber dry bags to stuff my quilts & hammock into. I like WXtex & DryPak brands.
I've had the sea to summit dry bags......
The only catch is the are not durable...I used them on hikes in Az, and one or two scuffs on a red rock and they were useless...
Which aarn do you have and why? How is it performing? You too animal control, what about you?
aarn featherlight because it's the size pack I needed to carry all my stuff!!
performs way better than my Vapor Ki, the load settles on my back way more comfortably
And I don't worry about things inside it getting wet on those trips where no rain was in the forcast but it rained anyway & I've forgotten to pack a rain cover. I always forget something!!!
Check out pacific outdoors equipment. Great dry bags, light and strong. I have used them on many canyoneering adventures, where keeping your gear dry is essential.
I've been using Outdoor Research bags for the past year and they are to be holding up well.
