    Hammock and tarp. DIY style

My first hammock and hex tarp. Bought an old kenmore injector from a thrift store and dove in. I am pleased with the way they turned out. Lots of help from folks on this forum.

    Thanks.

Nice job! That's all you need (besides materials of course) - thread injector and diving in.

Loving the cavalier attitude! "Bought an old machine, made some gear, here's a pic, see ya later!"
The new gear looks good too! You've obviously done your research

I must confess that I did tons of research and practiced until I had blisters. Well almost blisters. Thanks to all for your kind words. I also must confess that I bought an old Singer 301 that was not working for $25. So I think I need to find a 12 step program. Cheers all. 😊

No, you don't need that kind of "help". You just need a service manual, I'm sure you can find one for download. For $25, you did good--the bobbin case alone is worth at least that. My wife says "please post a picture" In the proper thread of course.

Looks great and the color works well too. Best of luck in your new adventures.
Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!

I posted a picture of my $25 301. Cool machine and has its own cabinet. Not as powerful as the Kenmore but seems to have more finesse.
