Hello all, just wanted to say hello from PA. I do a lot of car camping with my family and grew up tent camping, but about 5 years ago got into hammock camping. I started out with an ENO singlenest and have since added an ENO double nest and bug fly.
Typically I hang in the summer and use a sleeping bag, but I intend to do 3 or 4 season hangs, so here I am - having extensively reviewed these forums - about to up my game.
I'm still keeping my 2 person tent rei half dome because I equally enjoy tent camping and hanging and am also keeping my Big Agnes flying diamond 6 for my young family of 4.
The ENO is a good hammock for leisure hanging throughout the day as it sets up in 30 seconds and has clearance for you to view the area to the sides, but isn't the best for 3 or 4 season hangs in my opinion.
So I've just added the WB Super Fly to my bag and am about to jump on the blackbird xlc, burrow 20 and incubator 20 UQ and TQ. I'm 6 ft and 230 pounds and believe this set up will be what I am looking for. What do you think?
