Talking Was this a good deal??

Well, I think I did well here.

Ebay auction: set of 4 Black Diamond Hotwire carabiners. Mocha color. They are in great condition. weight is 1.6 oz (each) closed strength is 25kN, open strength is 9kN. Wire gate opening is 25 mm.
The pic looks like they didn't even get used, and I won the auction. $23US plus $4 shipping.
From the retail I've seen, and adding shipping I don't think I got ripped off.....did I?
I know they're not the lightest, but two are for my bedroom hammock (diy) that just has the ends tied through treehuggers, and the other two are going to be for my parrot bay hammock. (only commercial one I have as yet)
Thoughts? Not like I can return them.

P.S. Are most people just paying the $3 or so (x4) for the SMC rings, and who has these at the best price now? REI out of stock, other places, out, one place I think had them at $4.75 each. Too much with shipping.
Next paycheck I'll maybe try to get the rings, and a strapworks simple sling

They have the 4ft black poly ones in their clearance dept for under $2 each if anyone's interested. Might get two for the bedroom hammock also, to upgrade my nylon mismatched straps.

I just checked the REI website and it didn't indicate the SMC rings were out of stock. I added them to my cart, no notice of being out of stock. Goto their main site and search for "SMC rings"

They are $2.90 each.. I just ordered 4 about a week ago. If you have them shipped to the store the is no shipping cost. I was at the store the other day and there are other rings from a differnt company, they are heavier, thicker, and smaller in diameter... not as good as the SMC rings IMO.

Just ordered "Strapworks" straps also, rings have to wait a little while. Have to get them shipped as the "nearest" REI is about 270miles away.
I'll eventually get all the pieces.
