    Snake skins

I'm in the process of making some snake skins for my superfly tarp. Will the Tarp fit in the original stuff sack with the snake skins? Looks like it would be impossible...

I just put my WB SF in the Hennessy Snakeskins today as a matter of fact. It fits into the stock stuff sack (with guylines and tensioners) just fine.

I second that they fit fine, though they don't go in the stuff sack quite as easily as the tarp by itself. The skins tend to try to escape the sack as you try and pack them in. If you aren't careful you wind up with a slow motion "can o' snakes" effect.

I have snakeskin's from Mountaingoat on my Superfly. Tarp, continuous ridge line, 6 tie outs, 8 grommets that make up a short pole mod and a full pole mod, and all hardware (minus poles) fit in the original stuff sack.

Just a thought, leave the stuff sack at home. Use the snake skins and keep the hammock in the outer pocket of your pack, assuming you have one.
