this sounds like a great hang, i am trying to work it out so i can make it, but checking with a couple friends to see if someone else wants to go and split the gas cost , this will be my first HF hang outside of IN.
Thanks to Red for reminding me. I am going to try to make it but it will more than likely just be a day trip. Family needs right now wont allow an overnight.
Being that its a Chili Festival I'll be sending a set of "Red" Tree Pro Straps with "Red" Quick Draws for a donation. Can you PM me and let me know where to send them?

Got a question,
Outside of having to purchase the out of state Recreation pass is there any other cost to get into the park or fee per night to attend this hang, just trying to get all my facts together so I can figure all my cost for this trip, still trying to put things together so I can make this hang

From page 1:
COST - Last year we charged $10 a person to cover expenses, this year we will be doing a raffle to fund the event and cover cost of firewood/camping/group expenses. There will be some big ticket items in the raffle as well as room for those that would like to contribute to the raffle, please see Google Doc. Tickets will be 1 for $5 or 5 for $20 so come prepared to help fund the event and possibly win some great gear. To continue to have a successful event we need it to be self funding. Any funds in excess of the group costs of the event will be donated to the local NCT Chapter. The NCT passes through Yankee Springs Recreation Area, I believe pretty close to the Deep Lake Unit, if any would like to hike in.
