So we are on our way back home from the South Dakota hang today. What a great bunch of folks. I've invited all of them to join us for this awesome hang!

And thank you so much you guys for jumping in and helping with the Raffle and the Coffee...what's so funny is: the folks from South Dakota talked all about the wine they were bringing...and us MI folks are all about the COFFEE!! LOL

This is really gonna be a bang up hang again this year!! I can't wait for it too get here so I can see all our friends and make some new ones

I just wanted to give a shout out and a huge THANK YOU to all the vendors who have donated to our raffle so far....They really are helping to make this happen on so many levels. This is going to be a great hang and it wouldn't be without their help.

    Will give it a try.

Another thought is, anyone have an extra bridge hammock my wife could try? Shes mostly a side sleeper, so might help with her sleeping. Don't want to go through building her one just to find out it doesn't work for her.

I've got a Diy 1.6 oz ala hiking dad tutorial. I was planning on bringing it so people could check it out. I don't use it much because the wife likes to be close under the same tarp...doesn't work well with bridge hammocks! Your wife is more than welcome to use it. Its a single layer, and I don't have an UQ for it, so you'll need something there.

Buy from them ... It is really! The best stuff you can get! (Trust me, I buy a lot of stuff)... I just bought a UGQ underquilt and it's TOP NOTCH!. Great Job Paul and Missy Lou!. Now I am looking to add a tarp to my collection. Haven't decided yet on which one ... So many out there. Looking for something smaller then the Mambajamba... yet BLACK with great coverage for a WBBB. Hmmm.......
You can't go wrong with an American made product, with great customer service, and from the State you live in to boot!. Search these vendors FIRST. Kind of like "See America First" from years ago. You will not be sorry!

Any chance you will have a stove or two in your pack?

Okay... got confirmation from my friend that he'll be up for it - we won't be there until Saturday though, I work until 7pm the Friday before so there isn't much chance of getting there earlier.
I did pick up a "loaner" hammock that he might try out, but he'll most likely be in a tent. Hopefully there will still be enough hanging spots to pick from!
