SOLD: Back of the Gear Closet

Unless specified, all gear is lightly used, in very good to excellent condition. Most used on 1-2 shake-down hikes only; stuff just didn’t work out for my style of packing. Prices include shipping to CONUS (discount for shipping multiple items). PayPal preferred; USPS money orders accepted. Please PM for purchase or questions.

SOLD $40 - GoLite Poncho Tarp – sea blue; ~9’x5’; 10 oz. I bought it used from another WB’r who also used it lightly; kept me dry!

    $35 – Bieners / Lines / Figure 9’s for GoLite Poncho Tarp – (8) micro-bieners, (6) 8’x1/16” Speer spectra guy lines, (2) 10’x1/8” triptease ridgelines, (2) Figure 9’s for ridgelines. Used once; almost weightless.

SOLD $25 – Custom Hennessy Hammock UnderPad for Explorer Ultralite and Explorer DeLuxe, modified to fit Expedition A-Sym and Ultralight Backpacker A-Sym – originally purchased from HH as cosmetic second (very slight adhesive stain in one place on the pad, hardly noticeable); modified to fit my ULBA for increased shoulder coverage, but can be used for the larger hammocks since I did not remove or change the original construction – only added some grosgrain reinforcement and loops to relocate bungies to fit the ULBA. Excellent condition: not holes, tears, etc.

SOLD $55 – Custom Jacks ‘R’ Better Weather Shield 2 – the silnylon/ripstop model; ~9 oz.; sage green; I added silnylon channels w/1/8” bungie cord to better seal the sides (like a KickAss quilt); cordlocks for adjustment located at side tie-outs for easy adjustment from inside the hammock (if you have the 2Q zipper mod). Worked well with the UnderPad listed above. Allows the use of a smaller tarp and still maintain good weather protection.

Buy everything and all you need is a basic hammock for one sweet set-up!
