    Very interested, would this be backpacking in some where or more like a car camping trip and just hang at an improved campsite?????

    It really can be an either/or. The car camping improved campsite location is what will work for those who are porcelain dependent yet for those who like to backpack in there is an option as well. Stubblefield campground is an improved camp ground in the Sam Houston National Forest. It happens to be on the Lone Star Hiking Trail which is a great place for backpacking.

    In the next few weeks, we will have a better sense of who is joining us and what their needs and preferences may be. We'll talk about food ideas and site locations. We could have a base camp at one location and then for those interested, there could be a backpacking option.

    We have a wide range of folks coming and would welcome you and family member/s as well.
