Texas Fall Group Hang

As I sit here moaning about all of the 100 degree days, I figure the best way to get my mind off of the temps is to think about camping in the fall.

How about a Texas Group Hang in November?

I'm thinking the 13th-15th of November would be good.

Should be nice and comfortable and that way I am out of the house while any pre-Thanksgiving cleaning is taking place. (jk, my guess is my wife will come too.)

I am in Central Texas and willing to drive anywhere within about a 4 hour radius.

Any takers?

THANK GOD!!! I'm in. I'm up in Denton and will drive about 24 hours to hang I'll be by myself as my wife isn't into the whole camping thing. Let's gather up some more people and pick a place!!!

If the date gets moved up a week or two, I might be in. It would give me a good excuse to go visit my Mom for her birthday. Actually, it's my Mom so I don't even need the excuse; just a nice multi-task.

I'd like to be in, but I don't know if work will cause me to miss ANOTHER hang or not. I'll have to wait and see.

I feel like a little kid thats just been told Christmas is coming early!!!! I'm okay for any dates except October 28th. I've never been to a group hang..I'm stoked!!

As I look at my fall calendar, I am going to go camping somewhere October 16-17; November 13-15; maybe November 6-7 or 27-28; December 4-6 or maybe 10-12; and as often in Jan - April as I can.

that is about as far as i could go for a weekend, id have to make it 3 days... Jordan Hot Springs?

I was kidding about the 24 hours....according to google it's about a 12 hour drive for me Sure wish I could, the pictures I found on the net look great.
