Me too! I go to the rock climbing gym I work at. The floor is large, flat and is made of dense foam. I can pin straight into it, which is nice, but I gotta drive there. Btw, nice hammock.

    Opie,

I've been bitten by the bridge hammock bug, too. What are the dimensions of your latest creation?

Opie, the bug has good side effects, judging by the quality of your work!

    Do you hang from 6x6's?

Thats a great looking set up there! Curious, how deep did you set the 4x4? Did you use any sac-crete or just tamp dirt back around the post? Nice job!

Man, I don't remember exactly how I set them. Based on my OCD, they are at least 42" down with concrete.

The entire set-up doubles as a swing for the kids.

I wish I had a big table for laying fabric out.
So do I, getting too old to be getting down on hands and knees to measure, cut ect fabric.

    I like the hammock.

Did you have a DIY plan for the hammock or did you just wing it ?

I have had two 4x4 posts break on me at while hanging. I now use 7"-8" pier pilings ( think telephone poles )
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
