    Cypress hills - Saskatchwan.

My first time to cypress hills and I am a bit ashamed that I haven't come sooner to this location.

The inlaws decided to do a family get-together here. Small group 8-9 people total. Share meals and hang out.

I have some quirky in-laws but they are great. I have my quirks too.

Cypress Hills is an amazing park that spans across the Saskatchwan border into Alberta. The Alberta side is rougher amenity wise but both share quite a bit of the same sites.

I believe it has some of the largest density of lodge pole pine trees (Canada) but could be mistaken

Up until this trip I haven't really noticed them in other locations. Amazing trees.

Anyway I brought my dl hammock for me plus 2 others to share. 11' & 10.5'. My son brought his as well for lounging. I learned last trip not to bring only 1 since people take them over.

Beautiful weather 28-30• celcius down to 12ish at night. No bugs to speak of for the most part. Squirrels out the ying yang though.

4 days and a great time. I think I have 2 orders from family for DIY hammocks. Lots of hiking, games and trails for 4 days. I split nights between the hammock and my sleeping with my Wife in the kamparoo.

What a great time. If your ever in the area check it out!

Looks like a great place for a family get together! Good call on bringing the extra hammocks.
Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!

Looks like a great spot for hammocks! Lots of decent trees and not too much brush.

Rangers didn't give you any problems for having the kamperoo, a tent and a hammock? In Alberta parks, they try to charge you extra depending on how they categorize the hammock.
