    Ridge runner fitted tarp.

So I'm think, has anyone ever tried to make a tarp that would connect to the hammock triangles and just drape over the hammock somehow? It would also need to attach to the spreader bars somehow to keep it in place. Maybe be 12 inches past the bars? It might be a dumb dumb idea, but it keeps going through my head and I think it could work :-)

No wind protection, no privacy, and you'd get condensation.

    Why no wind protection?

Well, if it were to drape with no stakes it would flap everywhere, if you did stake it, the stakes would probably rip out when you get in. And what's the point? Your using a bridge hammock so you can't be to worried about weight?

I bet you could rig up a larger version of the DD hammock system with poles to support the tarp. But then I guess you are back to not saving any weight.
