    A girl can dream, right?

Thinking that I just might need this.....

Is this going overboard? Do I really need a 10 foot wide tarp?

If you like staying dry and you're a backpacker, it's worth it. It's about the same dimensions as the Warbonnet Superfly, but half the weight. I love mine.

I originally had the HG Standard CF tarp but it's not really a 4-season tarp, in my opinion. I did have issues with blowing rain. I prefer the extra coverage of 10 ft. width.

I do not do a bunch of 4-season backpacking.....haven't made it out into the snow overnight yet. But, I am looking into something for when I go to ground when I go out with my 7 year old. I would put a net tent underneath. It is very similar to the WB superbly, but the weight savings is quite impressive.

Now to find one (with tie backs, in camo) for $250 or so.....

It's not just the blowing snow, It's for any bad weather with blowing wind that drives the snow, rain, sleet...etc. For any season.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

    ooooo, she purdy.

Would that is the 8 (and change) foot version right? do you think that it would fit a 2 person net tent? Do you have any trouble with the vertical door spaces and rain?
