    Wink central Florida

    Hi I'm new to hammock camping and looking forward to getting out in the field. I have had jungle hammocks but am looking to upgrade. I'm also planning on making the turtledog stand. I mostly car camp because I like to be comfortable. I have some old school canvas tents and Coleman stuff. I like the retro camping gear. I would like to take the jeep out to the Ocala national forest and find a couple of secluded spots to camp. These forums are an incredible resource and I'm looking forward to hanging around!

    While I'm not from Fla I will welcome you anyway, and one step further. On MLK weekend in Jan. the good Florida hangers get together for a super hang. It is super because a lot of good people come, a lot of good food is eaten, a lot of good times are enjoyed, and mostly because the people there are super people. You will find yourself very welcomed there, so watch for the planning thread to appear.
    If you prepare for failure you will probably succeed.
