    2/3 UQ 1.5 loft

My daughter has a couple more torso size UQ's available. The are very similar to ones sold in this thread http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ead.php?t=9288

These are approx. 38"x45". They are overstuffed with 800+ down and have 1.5" of loft They weigh 7.5oz before suspension and 8.8 oz ready to hang. There are lots of threads discussing the pros and cons of the shorter UQ's. IMO used in combination with a pad this will take some people into the 40's, most people into the 50's, and just about everybody into the 60's. I usually don't need a pad for my feet until it hits the 50's.

These are not factory but good quality DIY at a great price. There are a couple threads discussing the first ones she made that had positive comments My daughter is just doing this as a summer project while she is home for summer.

Price is $115 shipped to 48 states. Paypal preferred. PM me for payment details.

Dirty rotten! These things are gone fast! I'm going to have to put an alert or something on this section so if Hangout's daughter decides to do more, hopefully, I can grab one.

Not sure what she is going to make before school starts back. If she decides to make some winter ones I will send a PM before posting.

I really don't want her to start taking orders because school is priority at this point. She has a full scholarship for grades so you can see why I don't want her to put too much on her plate. If those grades slipped I could not buy as much hammock gear Selfish on my part I know!

I hear you! My son had a merit discount on his tuition, had to keep those grades (in hard science) at or above 3.5 to keep it. Got involved in theatre, and we saw that GPA approach 3.5000000000001 <grin>. Dad here was sweating bullets, and son took smaller parts (and padded with some easier classes). Got him graduated with scholarship intact, and into graduate school with a research assistantship. Whew! close call.

Two sets of college educations paid for, two to go.
