Grand trunk single with slings for $29.99

Found this at Cabelas, Grand trunk single with slings for $29.99. Cabelas has the measurements listed wrong, this hammock is 10.5 X 5. I bought one and made sure then ordered another. Heres the link:

Looks like a great buy, the 400 lb capacity seems a bit high though. I used to pick up the GT UL's from time to time in the 20$ range.

if a Cabela's is close to you may be possible to have shipped to store for free, I have been happy with that. A good deal!
My problem with that is I go into the store and spend more than what I "saved" on shipping… LOL

I saw UL travel at Amazon prime for $19.95 without suspension sling but not everyone pays annual "prime" cost. Personally I prefer other suspension systems discussed here at HF but S-hooks are fast and convenient. Their GT Nano 7 is pretty cool but much more expensive, unfortunately.

edit: often Cabela's has Name Brand manufactures make custom runs especially for them that you cannot buy elsewhere so I would not be surprised if this one they have for sale IS 6-12" longer in both directions, this would be a significantly good deal IMO. If not you can always take it back with a printout of the website posting and get your money back on your debit/CC.

My cousin now wants a hammock (and he missed the Woot special earlier in the week), so this one seems to be a good deal.

He's wondering how these fare when left outside the the entire spring/summer/fall. Does anybody know? I assume the fabric would fade, but is it going to start dry-rotting or turning moldy or anything?

It is the paracute nylon single. 10.5 X 5.... NOT THE ULTRA-LIGHT.. as i said, I ordered one and recieved it. Also, has carabiners NOT s-hooks.. The ultra-light has the s-hooks.

I just want to chime in here and say that the hammock I received was the advertised size of 9'x4', and not the 10.5'x5' that you claim.
