    Below freezing in july!!!!

Last night I spent my third straight night in my hammock (in my yard, trying to dial in the new hg incubator I have) and it dipped down below 32 degrees during the night in JULY!!!! That is why I went with a 0 degree uq for all seasons...stayed nice and warm underneath, but woke up a few times wondering if I shouldn't go put a woolen cap on!!!!! WOW, 31 degrees in July. Gotta love the mountains!!!!!

It's been unseasonably cold up here as well which has been a nice change from some of the stiflingly humid and hot days we usually have.

That sounds heavenly! It's been 116 and humid (for us) this week. Wish I was in the Selkirk range right now!

Icky and grey in the our part of the Willamette Valley this week. I like the cooler weather, hate the grey, makes me just want to sleep, I feel sad. Grew up here, grey did not bother me until I became accustom to SUN. It can be very cold but if the sun is out I love it. Grey, icky.

TQ that night was a cheapo wal-mart bag (didn't expect it to get that cold) but usually use a 20 degree down bag. Just starting to get comfortable enough in my hammock to brave those cold nights!!!!

I can't wait and I mean I can't wait for the cold weather. I just got my 0* incubator with 4oz over stuff. Getting ready to order a 0 burro with 4 oz of overstuff bring it on.

Yes, this has been a nice summer temperature-wise so far. I have plenty of outdoor projects that I should be working on, so I should have been out taking advantage of the weather. A big welcome relief from the hot summer experienced on the East coast in 2012.

WHAT! I call BS, and also jealousy. It hasn't left the 90's here
