Don't be too hard on the mods.
They may not be perfect, but they do a great job moderating this site that gets a bajillion comments every day.
The ineptitude comment was uncalled for and completely out of line.
Your next one should be an apology.
He is your friend, your companion, your defender... he is your dog. You are his life, his leader, and master. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of that devotion.
I think that's a bit harsh. Those of us who have been on HF for a long time have seen our mods be quite effective at helping to make HF a favored place to come and cyber-hang. Any number of times technical problems have been dealt with quickly and effectively. The mods are anything but inept. Theirs is a volunteer service, much appreciated, and I for one don't begrudge them their time away from HF.
One of the things people often comment on is the civility of most posters here. Takes some effort on the part of posters and mods, but it makes HF unique. Makes a posting like yours quoted above stand out. Perhaps that's not the impression you wish to leave of yourself.
