    Best Asym Tarp Design?

So I'm trying to work out a design that would provide the most coverage per weight for a Warbonnet Blackbird. Right now I'm strongly considering the Zpacks asym tarp dimensions, but some reviews said that it doesn't fully cover the pull outs on a WBBB. Does anyone have any advice?

I used a tarp that was 101” X 103” and it worked well. If you hank it backwards head to foot both your head and feet will hang out so I had a piece of yellow ribbon hanging on one end to mark it.

That's pretty much the design I use on my DIY asym tarps, like the on I've got in the WTT section.. the only difference is from "wing tip to wing tip" is 8' 4" after hemming.

They cover well.. we had a massive driving rain yesterday that I tested the tarp in, and with a DIY hammock that clones the WBBB pullouts, the hammock was only a little wet on one end.. and that was my own fault.. I didn't have it centered perfectly under the tarp.

Do you mean a rectangular tarp or a parallelogram?

Any Asym design uses asingle width of cloth, usually 60". So the maximum width is going to be pretty much the same whatever you do. It seems to me that it would be really easy to not use the pull outs if it is raining, then the hammock will be somewhat narrower. TBH, I couldn't be bothered using the pull outs on my Hennessy whatever the weather,so it wasn't an issue.
