Thanks, I'm currently in negotiations for Fall MAHHA, the October 10th weekend is our Canadian Thanksgiving and my Birthday so it's an uphill battle but I'm optimistic. On that note, anyone know how to camp-cook a Turkey, I'm thinking parts in a couple of Dutch Ovens??

Nice job. I started out DIYing to save money, but now it's about pride. I have an ARGON Sil tarp too. Made all of my setup except a top quilt. I have plans to do that soon. Really nice setup.

Excellent work, I am in the middle of doing a complete set up for myself, gear that fits me. I am so sick of dragging around stuff that is way longer than I need. I have also discovered bridge hammocks, they are very easy for me to use.

Thank you for sharing, the images are excellent.

Canadian Thanksgiving, well we either cook the turkey over the campfire or Dutch Oven, depending on where we choose to Hang that particular weekend. Now that my children are adults, and not a single grandchild, we always go Hang someplace, have our Thanksgiving feast, so far it has worked very well. I buy a fresh turkey from the Hutterites, excellent, no food preservative hangover.

    Great looking gear well done.

I've done turkey's 3 ways either the dutchy, or in a hole sealed in aluminum foil pans, or old school rotisserie (which was a pain and took forever.)

Looks great [o]TTer! Hard to tell, but did you roll hem the edges, or did you use grossgrain?
