    Edge tarp versus Tadpole tarp.

first I have both. hard to find feedback, so bought both and compared. yes there are pictures.
    Edge from warbonnet;
    11'x94" for size
I have the digital camo and other than Cuban(I don't have) the favourite so far.
weight is claimed 11.25, but may be more with camo?
feels lighter/thinner than other tarps I have felt/groped
    Tadpole from wilderness logics
11'or 12' x 92". I prefer 12' and Brandon doesn't want to do it. boo cuz it would have been my favourite! picture as to why2014-08-02 12.35.09.jpg
weight is 12.5 oz for the 12' RL
I have old man winter tarp from WL and..., well..., bombproof. simple
prices are comparable by about 5-10$. extra features cost similar as do the door add ons.

My thought process from reading that sentence:
Whiskeyjack sold his son for a tarp?!?!
Oh, no, Whiskeyjack is just a brand of whiskey, and his son is obviously colloquial terminology for a bottle.
Oh, he's selling it to Whiskeyjack, and Whiskeyjack will be giving it to his own son, so no bootlegging/illegal child trading here...

Hey there DeRozea! Could you please tell me how long your Thunderbird is? Is it a 10' or 11'?

Thanks, this will help me understand tarps lengths and how it relates to the length of a hammock.

I guess that would help. it is an 11' darien in the pic. thunderbird(also 11') is waiting for colder weather.

I have owned a couple or so of both, funny thing I have no need for a 12ft. Rl. 11ft. has always proven more than enough..
You wouldn't think that extra ft. would get in the way but a lot of times my 11ft. just fits and a 12 would not have..
If I were to nit pick ,I would have to say the tadpole rl design is a little more finicky due to the shingle design.. The edge just seems much more bombproof in design and sewing.. However if you do not follow recommended setup of either one problems will occur..Which we will read here very often....
We would be one step closer to world peace, if everyone slept in a hammock..

Actually, the tarp for my son sounds like a great trade. Consider it a done deal.
