Just having a thoughtful moment while I take a break this weekend. I changed jobs this week and found out one of my coworkers runs a quilting shop with his wife. So I immediately heard "quilting" and thought maybe I can source some materials and have a custom synthetic top/bottom quilt made.
A few minutes later my new boss and I are talking about the summer heat and how nice it would be to rig up a big piece of shadecloth for some relief. Then I he rambled on for a second about some kind of solar reflective cloth that's really nice but kind of pricey. Then I heard "blah blah blah flat-felled seam". What, what was that...can this guy operate a thread injector or something? Even better, he makes custom parachutes on the side. Yeah, I guess he can probably sew.
Now, just to plant the seed of an idea or two in their head and purchase some materials.
