I hate that I missed my first group hang. Coming through Atlanta and almost there when my transmission blew up. Spent the rest of my hang time trying to get back home. Any recommendations on upcoming hangs?

Well, that really stinks! I wondered why you weren't there. The GA folks will probably try to have another hang before the end of the year, and the Palmetto State Hangers frequently have spur of the moment hangs and have a Frozen Butt Hang scheduled for January. Keep an eye on the Southeast section in the trip planning forum. You never know what may pop up.Originally Posted by Shootin2ool

Picture was Saturday morning of the Halloween Hang when shortly after around the morning campfire we were greeted by about a dozen wild turkeys that seemed to like the purple Palace.

Everybody likes the Purple Palace! I slept through the turkey visit.
