Forecast for Meadville keeps flip flopping, but it looks like freezing and dry Friday with a slight warm up Saturday. Saturday night shows chance of precipitation. Mild to moderate winds both days. Remember your layers please, it could be the difference between an awesome time or an awful experience.

Sorry to see that you won't make. I'll catch you somewhere else some other time. By the way I got that hammy last night that I won at the LA hang. The one from Butt In a Sling fell thru so they got me one from Dream Hammocks, it's camo!
My ego said, SURE you can.
Half way in my body said OH NO YOU CAN'T

Bringergame - Sorry, I didn't respond earlier. Got busy. I can bring a side on Friday night with ribs. Maybe bbq beans? and some buns for Saturday morning as well. I will be shopping tonight so let me know if there is anything you want me to pick up.

Also - I am bringing one more with me - my nephew who is a college student at Ole Miss. He has hammock camped with us before but we both look forward to learning from some hanging 'vets'. My 10-yr-old with be with me too so three total.

Sounds good. Just remember something to eat on. I got some plates, but not that many.

Can we drive up to the sites? If not, I have a cart I can bring for transporting firewood, but I'm not going to bring it if I don't have to.

You're right about the forecast: It keeps changing, but looking like the rain chances are moving more toward Sunday.

    SB,

You can drive right up to the separate sites so you won't need a cart.

Man, if the cold hangs on with precipitation, I may have my first snow hang under my belt! Friday night looks like it will be pretty frosty anyway.

Folks, I'm really sorry to report that I will not be meeting you this weekend. I was really looking forward to getting introduced and spending the weekend; but, I have family matters that I need to take care of and can't get away. I was really looking forward to testing my new gear and seeing what temps it can handle.
