    Sleeping double

I know this has been tossed around a lot on HF so here is my two cents worth on it. I went to the swamp butt hang back in July at this hang I meet some real neat people. I was able to do some swapping, I ended up with an 11' table cloth hammock (thanks Sue). Fast forward to last night I had a little company.
My five year old granddaughter joined me for a night of hanging. It was perfect after two and a half hours of talking she finally fell asleep at 2.30 am we talked about every thing a five year old and a 48 year old could come up with, so next time company ask to join you for a hang go for it. It just might be the biggest blessing you get for a while. It was for me and E.

That is just awesome. Both the hanging and hanging out with the granddaughter.

Maytag, that is wonderful. I am so glad I could help you out, and thanks for the dogbones. I knew you would love the 11' hammock so much more than your ENO. Life is good!!!!! See you in the woods.

I was lucky enough to experience the same sort of thing with my then 6 year old grandson this past winter. We had a wonderful night out and he wants to do it again so it looks like it was all a success. Glad to see you're able to enjoy spending time with your granddaughter. I figure having grandkids is nature's way of letting us make amends for any mistakes we made while learning with our own kids.

That's all for now. Take care and until next time...Be well.

Very cool!!!!! My five year old has been asking to sleep with me in the hammock. You've inspired me to get it done.(:
