What type of added suspension with this hammock?

I recently acquired a hammock that has loops (continuous loops?) on the ends on the hammock that are in the channels. What type of suspension should finish this off?
My original thought was the loop to carabiner to an atlas strap...mostly because I have both of those at home.

Is this the correct method?
