Middle Tennessee Hanger

Been into hammocks for a little while now for recreational use but have started to move to the ultralight gear for overnighting on bikebacking and some backpacking trips. Someone pointed me in this direction for some more info......and plenty of it there is! I reside right outside of Nashville so if there are any middle tenn. hangers that might want some company on local hangs give me a shout, and I'll be keeping an eye on the "Trips" section also. Great to have all this info on hand now, guess I have a lot of reading to do!!

Plenty of hangers around middle TN. Check Neo's thread for the Oct hang at Meriwether Lewis campground on the Trace.

There are plenty of hangers in the "Nashville Backpacker" group on www.meetup.com. Our regular monthly meeting is Monday evening at REI at 7:00. Feel free to join us. We do one or two backpacking trips per month on average, sometimes more.

Thanks guys! Forgot to ask in initial post but are there any parks in the area better for hammock camping than others. I always go east to the mountains for most of my camping to meet up with family so not that familiar with local sites.
