Full-Time Hangers - What Top Insulation?

Hello all. I switched to hanging full-time 8 or 9 days ago and am curious what full-time hangers are using for their top insulation? None of my bedding works well in the hammock so I've been using my 40° Burrow. Problem is I don't want to wear out my camping quilt with continuous use and repeated washings.

I use normal bedding. A sheet in the summer and blankets in the winter. I get in the hammock and then pull the bedding on, roll one way and tuck it under, roll the other way and tuck. Three minutes later I'm asleep.

I made a TQ with fleece from Joann's Fabric. It's perfect for me indoors.

Normal bedding works for me. Maybe try a fleece blanket.

In the house above 60F and the poncho liner works great

For summer use, I just use a light fleece blanket that I sewed about 18 inches of one end up to form a foot box. You could use a sheet in the same way. In the winter, I use a Backpackinglight UL 180 synthetic quilt. I already had it and it works great. You could also make a top quilt from an old sleeping bag.

A burrito poncho liner quilt. Top and bottom insulation all in one. I use it on hot night's and in the house can't beat it for the money.

After trying several types of setups, I found draping blankets over a ridgeview to be the most comfortable for full-time, indoor top insulation. I just the type and number according to the season. I use a large safety pin on each end to keep blanket(s) centered on the ridgeview and let the sides just hang. I use a 40° UQ. This all gives me the freedom to move about without having to constantly adjust blankets. With the safety pins in place, I can slide the "tent" up and down the ridgeview to adjust the temperature within.

By the term "full time hangers" does that mean that you only sleep in a hammock and never in a bed?
