Thanks for the kind words everyone. It was a lot of fun tinkering with the design.

If you're into such things, check out EVAC John's thread that started it all. Look carefully and you'll see a lot of everyone else's good ideas incorporated into The H.U.T.

We have 375 pounds of DOs alone. For the record, this is smaller than last year's trailer.
Oh yeah, BW asked: It started on a 5x8 utility trailer. Craigslist special, $400.

    Yeah. Park on a hill.

Great idea! I'll work it into the kitchen I mentioned earlier.

Tim, the leveler/support for the corners can be done with scissors jacks from smaller cars. These can be found at auto junk yards if any are around, but I think Harbor Freight has them. While they can be welded on, they work well if not. This is a relatively fast, easy and effective solution, but certainly not the only one. I have been thinking of this mod for my trailer, you are just faster, and I will wait and see what all yours evolves into. I love it as is.
If you prepare for failure you will probably succeed.

Well done. It is the hammock hanging equivalent of a popup RV. Too cool.

We actually considered how we would go about repurposing an old pop-up to make this. That was one of a zillion ideas that went into the process.

    Nicely done Timberr.
