Not in my huntin' woods, you better be in full orange for safety. We kill a few guys every year. Its a tragedy and accidents happen, but around here, there are a few bad apples that shoot first and look/think later. fwiw
Camo and stealth camping have there place and are a lot of fun, but trying to blend in when the November 15th lead is flying is not it.

Most of my camping is in the state park system around October and November so no worries there. Seems like if someone made a silnylon camo tarp around the 10 x 10 size they would have a few customers.

Unfortunately, Sil is only available in solid colors.

I use bow hunting as an excuse to get into the woods overnight and hike the next day with my long bow with wooden arrows, and my all-camo clothing, pack, hammock and tarp. If I could just walk more quietly in the fallen leaves, I'd probably get close enough to the deer to get a shot!

The biggest reason I like camo in the woods is because most outdoor clothing and equipment is so bright and looks out of place.

My first two hammock tarps were woodland camp (SG tarps) during the daylight hours, they blended in very well. As soon as moonlight hit them, I may as well had a WHITE tarp, they stood out that much.

Rewind a few years: My favorite tent was (& still is) a sil nylon silver / gray "Nomad". I always thought it would stand out like a, well, silver tent. I finally decided to test it, I set up in a mostly clear area, turned & walked about 15 feet away. I then tuurned around & looked at my tent,,, It was gone. I could see my footprints to it, but untill I stared for a few minutes, I could NOT see it.

Present day: My tarp is made of the same sil nylon, It hides nearly as well as the tent. The color seems to reflect nearly perfectly the surronding colors & stuff. My tarp is big, so it dosn't hide as well: The tent was 10' long & at its highest it is only 3' high. The tarp is over 13' long & has 5' sides, still, it is harder to see than the much smaller camo tarps, Especially at night.

As I understand it, camo colors are applied after the material is woven. This is not possible with silnyl because the silicone seals the material and prohibits adhesion.

Could be, just stating what a guy who makes the silnylon tarps told me.
