    The Lakeshore Trail GSMNP 2014

Poof and I have always wanted to hike this trail. It is but 34.5 miles of the greater 800+ miles of trails in Great Smoky Mtns Nat. Park.
Finally, post me getting lots of shots and waiting for what seemed like forever, she and I tackled this trail. I'm not going to lie, it was a hard hike
for me and not my knees! The monsoon rains, the high heat and humidity and my raw feet/toes after walking several days completely wetted out
took its toll, but in the end it is a great memory and Poof's longest backpacking experience. Like always she smiles at the end and is already scheming
    another trip:

Wonderful looking trip. Glad to see you both out there again.
Congrats Poof on the longest hike to date
Besides the wet feet, did you have any issues with the rain?
If not, I'd say you have the rain gear dialed in - that looked & sounded like quite the deluge.

They are the notorious drought breakers for sure!

Another nice video. I'm glad that you're able to get out in the woods without too much trouble, even if it is costly. I have fallen in love with my HNO tarp/sock. I really like the look of your pole mod and I'm glad that the Bonefire™ is still treating you well.

Congrats to Poof on her longest trip. I must have missed the trip report for her solo adventure.

    Straight out of Clayton.

Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.

I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.

I got a bit scared in the tunnel. Just thought you should know. Thanks for the snake, it was very nice! Very messy looking backpack Poof. Big biuld up for that creek crossing. lol I like campsite 90. The rain was very rainy. Thanks for the couple of hours by the lake! Timelapse is kind of, sort of, like being there, a bit, ish. A great place and a great video to show it off! Thank you!
