Thanx for the gracious reception from all I met Sat morn. I really wished I could have done the overnight thing. I was thinking of ya'll that night when the wind and rain was howling around my house. I also learned some good stuff I will change on my system. Hope to see you again. Slowhike...I bet I can hike slower than you!

I didn't even notice the wind or rain while I was in my hammock.

BTW... maybe i'll still come across it here, but i don't suppose anyone came across a long handled titanium spoon that has backpackinglight.com on the handle while cleaning up from hot springs did they?
man, that's my favorite spoon... & i bought it from jordan at trail days in 05. perfect for eating out of a baggie, laying in my hammock!!!

it's possible i'll still come across it. but if not... could be worse.
BTW, if you eat out of a baggie, i highly recommend a long handled titanium spoon.
BPL.com has them & i recently noticed that REI has started carrying them too.

He did refer to it as the "SnugFit Underquilt" so a least we got a name!
Speer UQ sounds and looks like a better name to me.
