I will be living away from home (post-graduate school) for the next several years. I only have a car and thus no way to transport a mattress easily. So I chose to get a hammock (ridgerunner). It has been quite comfortable outside. I want to use it, but do not have the tools or the time to make a DIY hammock stand (and since I am renting I do not want to put anything into studs). I will be ordering a hammock stand that I can take down and transport from Amazon. Since the ridgerunner requires a longer distance between hanging points for a flatter lay, how long should my hammock stand be? Is a 15 foot hammock stand too long and would it mess up the hanging angle (I am not too worried about my head or feet being at the same level). I am looking at the "Vivere 15BEAM-ORB Heavy Duty 3-Beam Hammock Stand, 15-Feet":http://www.amazon.com/Vivere-15BEAM-...8164538&sr=1-2
Would that stand work or does it mess up the hanging angle too much?
Thanks for any insights and help!
