I just signed up for these forums yesterday. I'm from Rogue River, OR and I've lived overseas in Venezuela and Paraguay. I haven't done a whole lot of hammock camping, but I have always enjoyed resting in hammocks. Sometimes I'll spend most of the day in a hammock!
I'm back in Oregon now and am trying to get into making hammocks. I have some ideas for other hammock items, too, but really just want to practice with hammocks for a while first. I've made one so far out of 550 paracord, but I'm really looking forward to browsing these forums and see what ideas I can glean.
