    Incubator or Phoenix?

My wife is looking at Xmas already.. so I'm tossed up between these 2 UQ's. I know one is a 3/4, and one is a full.. but other than that, are there any differences? Are the suspensions different? (Pics of the Incubator show a nice suspension system with Linelocs, etc)

Other than the coverage and weight.. how do the compare?

No real difference other than the Phoenix probably needs a pad or other insulation in the TQ footbox where the UQ down doesn't fully insulate your feet.

Just go with the incubator short, I am 5'6" and it covers me really good for a really small weight penalty.

Have had both and I prefer the incubator for the coverage and ease.

    Both suspensions are the same.

If you're good, then maybe a 20F incubator and a 40F Phoenix. So, be good for goodness sake!

Hi hk, What season/s are you thinking about? I really like the 3/4 down to about 45F but after that a full is nice.

+1 but I take the Phoenix when I'm looking to pack light. Both are great pieces of gear.
    see you on the trail,

Is it really lighter when you add in the pad weight?

The pads are light as air (well, in the metric system, at least).
